OKC AFGHAN LEGAL NETWORK

Meeting the Legal Needs of our Afghan Neighbors

Legal Advocacy for Afghan Neighbors

Oklahoma City welcomed over 1,800 Afghans following Operation Allies Welcome and the end of U.S. military operations in Afghanistan. Since their arrival, our Afghan neighbors have entered the workforce, enrolled in schools across the metro, and began rebuilding their lives as members of our Oklahoma City family. And Oklahomans have showed up in a myriad of ways to make them welcome, donating money, clothing, and goods; volunteering countless hours to meet their needs; and learning all we can about these newest neighbors.

But their journey is not over: they need our help to secure their futures and remain safely in the U.S. The Afghan Legal Network was established to assist in coordinating the legal work that will help them stay here, rebuild their lives, and transform our city for the better.
